Medical Office Assistant

Organized, efficient and self-motivated, you will report to the office manager and perform administrative and clerical tasks to ensure that the office runs smoothly and successfully.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and secretarial support
- Utilize the Electronic Health Record system
- Greet visitors
- Answer phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries
- Check patients in/out and schedule appointments
- Receive and manage client payments for services provided
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum of Associate or Bachelor degree required. College credit in behavioral science (Psychology / Sociology / Human Development) is a definite plus.
- Strong working knowledge of office computer applications (email, MS Office, etc.).

Previous Experience
- Medical office or receptionist experience
- Use of scheduling software
- Processing Prior Authorizations – a definite plus
