Amanda Nowlin

LPC-MHSP, RYT-200

Amanda joined Vertrees Clinical Group in August 2021.  She has been practicing therapy since 2018 as an LPC-MHSP.  Amanda has also been a licensed professional school counselor since 2007.  She holds a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology and Counselor Education from Tennessee Tech University, and is currently a PhD candidate in Counseling and Supervision at TTU.  Amanda has experience doing individual and group therapy in community mental health, adolescent correctional settings, public schools K-12, and in private practice.  Amanda’s clinical specialties include adolescents, anxiety, adolescent behavioral issues, trauma, grief, divorce and family transition, and first responders.   She often incorporates active movement and holistic activities into therapy.  Amanda is also a Registered Yoga Teacher and Certified First Responder Counselor.
